The Accredited Australian Labradoodle Breeders organization is founded on Integrity and Honesty.
The AALB is a young and exciting organization founded for all the right reasons.
- Support and Direction for all its Members/Breeders
- Maintaining the Australian Labradoodle Breed Standard and its Characteristics.
Breeder members work to a common goal, to breed Australian Labradoodles and Labradoodles to the AALB commonsense Breed Standard.
Breeders adopt the highest standard of Genetic Health testing available, gaining rewards for their efforts in the way of grading logos for the standards they implement for their breeding programmes.
Breeder Members abide by a Code of Ethics and adhere to the Rules and Regulations of the organization to remain a member.
The AALB is an organization which has been founded for the benefit of the Australian Labradoodle Breed within an environment where members are supported and their opinions heard and considered.
The AALB Labradoodle Breed Standard recognizes the need for vision in order for the breed to remain forward moving and genetically strong. The AALB consulted with the co-founder of the Australian Labradoodle ( Beverley Manners) and have adapted the AALB Breed Standard to ensure that the Australian Labradoodle will remain true to type and temperament whilst maintaining the Hybrid Vigor and Genetic Strength of this fabulous breed. The Breed Standard is clear and steadfast.
We offer the Breeder the opportunity of being associated with an organization which adopts a professional and honest approach to its policies and procedures.

Silver logo: As a minimum requirement as a member, AALB breeders must de-sex ALL pet puppies Before they leave their property for their new home and also offer a Health Guarantee against any Life Inhibiting Disorders or Genetic Diseases ( Not against unforeseen medical conditions out of their control), with all puppy sales.
The Breeder/Member will implement a health testing regime of at least Hip/Elbow scoring, opthalmic report as a minimum to qualify for this level of reward. This will be acknowledged with a Silver Logo to be displayed on the Breeders own website and the AALB Website against the breeders listing. All breeding dogs will be registered with the AALB.

Gold logo: Same requirements as Silver Logo but if a Breeder/Member adopts one or more of the following test's such as DNA profile, prcdPRA, they will be offered a Gold Logo to display on their website and reciprocated on the AALB Website against the breeders listing.
Platinum Logo: An optional reward deemed as an endorsement of responsible breeding practices. If a breeder is committed to submitting health testing results such as Von-Willibrands and/or Thyroid and a 2 year health guarantee as opposed to a 12 month guarantee under the Silver and Gold logo, they will be offered a Platinum Logo for display on their website and reciprocated on the AALB website against the breeders listing, thus showing a sign of the highest level of reward achieved. All Breeding dogs need to be registered with the AALB.
