"Log Cabin Labradoodles"

When the news article described the Labradoodle as the perfect household pet, I had to explore further. It was 2001 and a computer search led me to Beverley Manners at Rutland Manner. On the Rutland’s website I discovered 98% non-shedding, hypoallergenic dogs with sweet faces and happy dispositions. The more I read the more I knew I wanted to breed Labradoodles.
In 2003 I sent a deposit to Beverley for a pet puppy, wanting to make certain the breed was as wonderful as described. Rutlands Lil’ Twigs arrived in September expanding our hearts and surpassing our expectations. Twigs solidified my decision to raise Labradoodles. In January 2004, Rutlands Woody, Rutlands Lil’ Mogi, Rutlands Lil’ Maine Love and Rutlands Puffin (in whelp) arrived in Boston. Puffin delivered seven puppies on March 13, 2004 and Log Cabin Labradoodles was born.
To this day I say prayers of gratitude for Beverly Manners. Manners and her daughter Angela produced a breed with positive attributes beyond measure. Guests in our home forever comment on the lovingness of our dogs. Our moms and dads truly smile at visitors and then snuggle by their feet to nap. Every potential customer who has come to our home has purchased a puppy.
We have moved twice to make room for our growing group. All our dogs live in our home and sleep on or around our bed. They love obedience classes and long country walks, romps in the garden and hours spent on laps. Log Cabin is much more a family than a kennel. We’d love to have you visit.
